Interactive dashboard
Statistics on overnight stays, attendance, and interventions with period selection.

La Halte du Coin is a non-profit organization in the Montérégie region that provides emergency shelter and daytime service continuity for people experiencing precarity or homelessness. Opened in April 2020 during the pandemic, the resource has never closed its doors and welcomes people every night who need a safe refuge.
The first high-accessibility-threshold resource on Montreal's South Shore, La Halte du Coin meets users' basic needs and guides them, when necessary, to appropriate resources. The organization was created by Macadam-Sud, Hébergement La Casa Bernard-Hubert, and Le Repas du Passant.

Simplifying user, overnight stay, and intervention tracking
Like many community organizations, La Halte du Coin previously managed user, attendance, intervention, and overnight stay tracking across many Excel files. This fragmented approach made bed planning, statistics production, and grant reporting difficult and unreliable. We developed an intuitive web application that centralizes all information, simplifies daily data entry, and ensures data consistency. With an interactive dashboard, overnight stay management with bed planning, and rigorous intervention tracking, the team is more efficient and can better demonstrate its impact to funders.
Statistics on overnight stays, attendance, and interventions with period selection.
Creation, individual tracking, notes, and per-user statistics.
Fast registration, automatic priority sorting, and bed planning.
Intervention tracking and reconciliation of meals and services.
Tracking returns, re-evaluations, and planned return dates for users.
The overnight stay module enables fast user registration with automatic priority sorting. The team can plan and assign beds, track departures during a night, and manage bed swaps without manual re-entry.
The dashboard centralizes the resource's key indicators: overnight stays, attendance, and interventions. The team can select the desired period to visualize trends and produce reliable statistics for planning and funder reports.
Each user has a centralized file with history, notes, and individual statistics. The warnings and exclusions module documents returns and planned re-evaluation dates, ensuring rigorous and consistent follow-up.
The application developed for La Halte du Coin transformed daily emergency shelter management. Since launch, the organization has gained:
Centralized user, overnight stay, and intervention data on a single platform
Less time spent on data entry and administrative tasks
Reliable statistics for planning and grant applications
